This notice describes how the personal data of users who browse this site is processed, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. Data processed

  • Browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, collected automatically by the IT systems needed to operate the site.
  • Data provided voluntarily: name, contact details and the content of messages sent via WhatsApp, email or social media.
  • Conversations with the virtual assistant:messages exchanged with the chatbot are stored anonymously, linked to a random identifier generated by the browser, in order to keep the conversation history and improve the service. Please avoid entering personal or confidential data in the chat.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Operation and security of the site and the virtual assistant — legitimate interest of the controller (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Responding to requests for information and contact — pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Non-essential cookies and tools — the data subject's consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which can be withdrawn at any time.

4. Recipients and providers

Data may be processed by technology providers acting as data processors: the site's hosting and database service, the provider of the AI model that generates the chatbot's replies, and Google (delivery of web fonts). Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case, the transfer takes place on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. Data is not sold or disclosed to third parties.

5. Retention

Contact data is kept for as long as necessary to handle the request and for any legal obligations (up to 10 years for tax documents). Conversations with the virtual assistant are kept for a maximum of 12 months.

6. Data subject's rights

Users may exercise, at any time, their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (arts. 15-22 GDPR), as well as the right to withdraw consent, by writing to the contact details listed in point 1. They may also lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
